Frequently Asked Questions About Permanent & Custom Jewelry
01
Is Permanent Jewelry a Tatoo/Piercing?
No! Permanent Jewelry is welding together jewelry without a clasp rendering them "permanent", however you can always cut them off with a pair of pliers when you no longer want them.
03
What happens if my permanent jewelry breaks or needs to be removed?
If your permanent jewelry breaks or needs to be removed, we offer free re-welds to all of our clients.
If removal is needed for medical or personal reasons, we’re happy to guide you on safe removal. For at-home removal, we recommend cutting the jump ring with pliers to allow for easy re-welding later.
05
Is permanent jewelry really permanent?
Permanent jewelry is welded without a clasp for a seamless look, but it is not irreversible. We also offer removable custom jewelry with clasps for those who prefer flexibility.
07
Do you offer appointments for Meridian clients?
Yes! While our studio is located in Boise, we are just minutes from Meridian and proudly welcome clients from Meridian and throughout the Treasure Valley. Appointments can be booked directly through our online booking page.
02
Does permanent jewelry tarnish or fade over time?
We use only high-quality, non-tarnishing materials for our permanent and custom jewelry, including gold-filled and sterling silver, which are industry standards for everyday wear.
With proper care, gold-filled jewelry is designed to last significantly longer than gold-plated alternatives and does not tarnish easily.
